Creating a New Filter

Creating a new filter allows you to define a set of general information, useful for identifying and categorizing the filter, and then to set the conditions that determine its characteristics—that is, the audience that will result from applying the filter.

Creating a New Filter

The first pieces of information that can be entered are:

  • Name: Informational field that allows the filter to be retrieved later via search and is immediately visible in the filter list.

  • Category: Section where you can assign a Category to the filter, allowing similar filters to be grouped together and simplifying future retrieval. During this step, you also have the option to create a new category if needed.

  • Notes: Descriptive field where you can add text to help identify the filter more easily after its creation.

  • Make filter visible in all lists: Optional setting that allows the filter to be available across all Lists in the console (if multiple lists exist).

In the Total Recipients section, you can calculate the number of recipients among Email Subscribers and SMS Subscribers, allowing you to test the filter before actually applying it in the platform.

The Set Filter Conditions section is the core area where you define the conditions that will determine the audience selected by the filter once it is saved and applied in the console.

This section allows:

  • The ability to compose conditions of different types, linked using the relational operators "and also" and/or "or", forming groups of conditions (visually indicated by a grey box). Conditions within a group can be added using the +Add Condition button.

  • The ability to create multiple condition groups using the ADD A CONDITION GROUP button and link them using the same relational operators "and also" and/or "or".

There are no limitations on the number or types of filters that can be configured in this area.

When setting filter conditions, you can:

  • Delete all conditions and groups at once by clicking Clear all conditions.

  • Delete a condition group by clicking the X next to the group.

  • Delete individual conditions by clicking the trash bin icon next to each condition.

Editing a Filter

To edit a filter, simply locate it in the Filters list and select Edit from the Actions menu.

The filter creation page will open, pre-filled with the conditions that define the selected filter, allowing you to make the necessary changes.
